The Legislative Centre
The legislative Centre was founded in 2015 and its mission is to increase Public Policy and legislative knowledge in Kenya by providing top quality legislative training, advocacy and research services to its diverse clientele.
The Legislative Centre comprises a team of highly qualified professionals who are committed to fulfilling the clients’ needs above and beyond expectations. Furthermore, the center possesses a pool of experts in public policy related fields of study that are vital in meeting the training and research needs of our clients.
The Legislative Centre is focused on advancing the effectiveness of legislatures by providing quality and superior training and research services.
The Centre also fosters cooperation and facilitates the exchange of information by linking the legislatures with up-to-date information from the academia and research.
For the Centre to provide quality training it has to rely on SMART information which it gathers from research. Through the papers we write, the ideas we generate, the Centre shapes policy choices and strategies to create a secure and prosperous Kenya.

Our team comprises a pool of individuals with proven expertise in the field of public policy analysis, Political Science, International Relations, Law, legislative Drafting and Analysis, M & E, and Parliamentary Practice.
Over 4 years’ experience
The legislative Centre has been working in the legislative field for over four years. During this time the consultancy has been able to build capacity of several County Assemblies in the areas of parliamentary practice and has produced knowledge documents (legislative manuals, guides and reports) for the advancement of an effective legislative landscape in Kenya.
